Jobs after a proper education is must as we all believe in earning and learning or vice versa. To find the job in previous times was tedious job due to less debeloped networking system. But in today’s era, this saying is not valid. Companies have hired recruiters on regular or freelance basis to give particular job to right person.
A new strategy is Pocket Jobs: A platform which connects the recruiters and the jobs seekers of the entry level .This is the place fresh entrants can seek a job online in the job market. These entry level job seekers are much in demand, thanks to the booming e-commerce market and chiefly form the front line staff of every organisation. These candidates mostly deal with consumers directly and hence form the backbone of their businesses. Their roles are as varied as sales, tele callers, data entry/back office, call centre, cashier/billing, receptionist/front office, admin/support staff, warehouse staff, field staff etc.
Here are few business facts about this segment of job seekers –
Only 46% ground-level employees are hired through consultancies
Nearly 23% of this segment are employed through the job portals
About 15% are recruited via referrals
Hiring through social media and other sources are about 7% each
Looking at the statistics, it’s easy to guess that jobseekers in this segment are unorganised and untapped for now. Also, there is no leading site which has emerged as an authentic medium of hiring. Hence, organising the grey collar employees and employers is the hour’s need. Being a thought leader in this recruitment space, TimesJobs has identified this as the next opportunity and in this league and proudly announced the launch of Pocket Jobs.
What is Pocket Jobs all about?
With PocketJobs , primary focus is to provide a platform to connect employers and employees from the entry-level job market. PocketJobs will ease the recruitment pain areas of this segment as:
One can explore a plethora of jobs like customer-facing, front-end jobs like Sales, Callers, Data
entry/Back office, Call centre, Cashier/Billing, Receptionist/Front office, Admin/Support staff,
Warehouse staff, Field staff etc on the go
Registration is quick and simple and can be done with few basic details
We help the job seekers find nearby jobs using geo-location services – unique feature that lets
job seekers reach out to nearby recruiters and increase chances of finding a job

Test for convergence of series:
Series : Expression of that form in which the successive terms are always according to some
definite rule as
Is called series. Here is called n th term of series.
There are two types of series
1) Finite Series
2) Infinite Series
Finite Series: If the no. of term in any series is finite then the series is called finite
series.
Infinite Series: If the no. of term in any series is infinite then the series is called
infinite series.
Eg. it’s denoted by
Now we discuss about convergence of an infinite series of positive terms.
Convergent Series :
An infinite series is said to be convergent if the sequence of its partial sum <Sn> is
convergent = S (finite).
Test for convergence of series :
1) D’ Alembert’s Ratio test :
If be a series of positive terms such that
then
(i) if > 1, will be convergent
(ii) if < 1, will be divergent
(iii) if = 1 may either convergent or divergent
Cauchy n th root test :
If be a series of positive terms such that
= (a real number)
then
(i) if <1, will be convergent
(ii) if, >1 will be divergent
(iii) if =1, may either convergent or divergent
Raabe’s tests :
If be a series of positive terms such that
then
(i) if >1, will be convergent
(ii) if <1, will be divergent
(iii) if =1, may either convergent or divergent
D’e Morgan and Bertrand’s Test :
If be a series of positive terms such that
then
(i) if >1, will be convergent
(ii) if <1, will be divergent
Cauchy’s condensation test :
If the series is a positive terms such that <f(n) is a decreasing sequence and
if a >1 and is a positive integer, then the series and both converge or diverge
together.
Gauss tests :
If be a series of positive terms and
Where sequence <Yn> is bounded then
(a) if
(i) is convergent if
(ii) is divergent if
(b) if
(i) is convergent if
(ii) is divergent if < 1
