INTRODUCTION
This is the largest part of the brain situated in the anterior and middle cranial fossa.
It consists of two hemispheres. Both the cerebral hemispheres are separated by a deep vertical fissure into left and right cerebral hemisphere. The separation is incomplete, in middle portion; Corpus callosum is present which connects the two hemispheres. Surface of the cerebral cortex is characterized by complicated pattern of sulci and gyri. Sulcus is a slight depression or groove and gyrus is a raised ridge. This helps in increasing the surface area of brain.
Cerebral cortex consists of gray matter that surrounds the deeper white matter.

In each hemisphere, there are three surfaces lateral, medial and inferior surfaces

1. Frontal lobe

3. Occipital lobe
4. Temporal lobe.

2. Premotor area
Primary Motor Area- Areas 4 and 4S are present here.
Primary motor area is concerned with initiation of voluntary movements and speech.

Area 4S-It suppresses the extra impulses produced by area 4 and inhibits exaggeration of movements.

Premotor Area-Premotor area includes areas 6, 8, 44 and 45. The premotor area is anterior to primary motor area in the precentral cortex. The premotor area is concerned with control of postural movements.
Broca area-Broca area is the motor area for speech. It includes areas 44 and 45. Broca area is present in left hemisphere (dominant hemisphere) of right-handed persons and in the right hemisphere of left-handed persons
Function of Broca area-Broca area is responsible for movements of tongue, lips and larynx, which are involved in speech.

Parietal Lobe-It receives sensory impulses from cutaneous receptors (touch, pressure, pain, temperature) and proprioceptors.

What is Online Investigation?

मैं रोज अपने घर से 10 कि.मी. का सफर तय करके अपने कालेज आती हूँ। रास्ते में अलग-अलग अनुभव होते हैं जैसे – ट्रैफिक जाम का। जाम में खड़े-खड़ें मेरा चिन्तनशील दिमाग शोर मचाता है कि ये जाम में जितनी भी कारें खड़ी हैं यही इस जाम की जिम्मेदार हैं। एक कार – एक आदमी यह कौनसी सभ्यता हमने अपना ली है कि हम साझा करना ही भूल गये। जिस कार में पाँच लोग बैठ सकते हैं उस कार में एक व्यकित उसकी शोभा बढ़ा रहा है। इन प्रतिष्ठासूचक गाडि़यों के लिए र्इंधन कहाँ से आया ? पृथ्वी हमारी माँ है और हम उसकी स्वार्थी सन्तानें। जो माँ के कलेजे को खोद-खोद कर अपनी जरूरतें पूरी कर रहे हैं तभी तो पृथ्वी रूपी माँ का कलेजा हिल रहा है। इसलिए मेरे मन में विचार आता है कि क्यों ना कोर्इ ऐसा अभियान चलाऊँ जो लोगों को कार साझा के लाभ समझा सके और शायद हम अपनी माँ का दर्द कम कर सकें।
इन्हीं विचारों के साथ मैं मेरे गन्तव्य की ओर बढ़ जाती हूँ। पर आज ये विचार आपसे साझा करने का मन किया क्योंकि दुनिया मातम मना रही है, सरकार राहत में लग रही है, और हम अपने-आप में मसरूफ हैं पर हमें भी अपनी भागीदारी निभानी होगी केवल सामाजिक नेटवर्क पर मोमबत्ती लगाने से हमारे कत्र्तव्यों की इतिश्री नहीं हो सकती।
हमें अपने कत्र्तव्यों को समझना होगा तभी हम अपने-आप को, अपने परिवार को, अपनी पृथ्वी बचाकर खुशहाल जिंदगी व्यतीत कर सकेंगे।

सर्कस में हाथी को रस्सी से बांधकर रखते हैं। यह ऐसी रस्सी होती है जिसे हाथी आसानी से एक झटके में तोड़ सकता है। हाथी बलशाली होता है और जरा सी ताकत लगाने पर वह रस्सी के छोटे से टुकड़े को तोड़ सकता है, पर क्या कारण होता है कि हाथी एक छोटी सी रस्सी को नहीं तोड़ पाता और बंधन मुक्त नहीं हो पाता। दरअसल हाथी को बचपन से ही मोटी रस्सी से बाँध कर रखा जाता है और उसे इस बात का एहसास करवाया जाता है कि मोटी रस्सी वह तोड़ नहीं सकता। उम्र बढ़ने के बाद भी हाथी के दिमाग में यही बात स्थायी रूप से बैठ जाती है कि अगर पैर में रस्सी है तब वह एक बंधन में है, जो टूट ही नहीं सकता। हाथी ताउम्र रस्सी को बंधन का पर्याय मान लेता है। ऐसा बंधन जो बस एक झटके से टूट सकता है। अगर असफलता की बात करें तब मनुष्य का स्वभाव रहता है कि वह असफलता को पैर में बंधी रस्सी की तरह मान लेता है। वह फिर से असफलता प्राप्त क्षेत्र मेें जाने से डरता है। उसे असफलता से इतना डर लगने लगता है कि वह उसे बंधन मानने लगता है। और प्रयत्न करने से भी डरने लगता है। और, इस डर का मनोविज्ञान इतना खतरनाक होता है कि व्यकित साधारण कार्य करने से भी डरने लगता है। और बात उसके आत्मविश्वास में कमी से लेकर व्यकितत्व में कमियों तक पहुँच जाती है। हाथी कभी भी इस बंधन से मुक्त नहीं हो पाता, इस कारण हर दम रस्सी में बंधा रहता है जबकि हम अपनी असफलता को भूलकर नर्इ पहल करने में सक्षम हैं बावजूद इसके कर्इ युवा साथी अपनी असफलता को लम्बे समय तक साथ में लेकर चलते रहते हैं। इस कारण वे कुछ नया नहीं सोच पाते क्योंकि उन्हें हरदम यही बात सताती रहती है कि कहीं पुन: असफल न हो जाए। दरअसल असफलता को क्षणिक माना जाना चाहिए और इस बंधन से जितना जल्दी हो मुक्त हो जाना चाहिए। असफलता से छूटकर अगर आप प्रयत्न का दामन थामेंगे तब निशिचत रूप से एक ताजी हवा के झोंके जैसा एहसास होगा और नर्इ राह पर चलने के लिए नए प्रयत्न कर पाएंगे। असफलता कोर्इ अभिशाप तो नहीं, यह प्रयत्न करने का फल है और फल कड़वा भी हो सकता है, पर हर बार फल कड़वा ही होगा, यह मानकर आप फल खाना ही त्याग देंगे ? प्रयत्न करें और मेहनत के साथ प्रयत्न करें तब आप देखेंगे कि सफलता को आपके पास आना ही पड़ेगा।
